Mrs. G. called with concerns that her 8 year old system wasn't heating correctly. When we arrived and diagnosed the system, everything seemed to be working great. It seemed that the heat pump was in defrost mode due to the cold temps and was completely normal. Remember, when the temperature is below 32 degrees, make sure that your heat pump is running in AUX or Emergency heat to prevent the outside unit from freezing up!
